Funny thing is, I see more death threats and threats of violence coming from people who are “pro-life”. 

I had someone come in my ask box and tell me that she would ATTACK me for having a different opinion than she does. 

And this idea that swearing is undignified or inappropriate or whatever is ridiculous. It’s used for emphasis because some of the crap that “pro-lifers” come out with is utter bullshit. And anyone who thinks that people who need abortions should die rather than get them deserves a big ol’ fuck you.

I always try to approach Pro-lifers with respect and dignity, but it’s hard because of the disrespect for people that’s engrained in the whole pro-life movement.

The whole pro-life movement seeks to reduce people to their ability to procreate. It seeks to strip people of their reproductive rights. It puts the potential life of a fetus above the very real life of the person carrying it. It ignores the reasons that a person might need an abortion.

The Pro-life movement relies solely on emotional manipulation and propaganda.

Have you seen any of the stuff that pro-lifers post? Have you seen the emotional manipulation? The disregard for the pregnant person? The use of wrong or outdated information?

Have you seen that trash 180 video or any of the multiple posts that would dare compare abortion to the holocaust? Do you understand how disrespectful that is? How absolutely wrong that is?

What you don’t seem to understand is that us pro-choicers have every right to be angry. We SHOULD be angry. Most of us start out by correcting any misinformation, we address all of their points and tell them how and why they’re wrong and we’re often treated as monsters. WE are the ones getting called Nazis by pro-lifers. WE are called baby killers. WE are compared to murderers and sometimes even rapists.

I’m sorry that you think pro-choicers are being disrespectful. I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. 

We are ANGRY and we have every right to be angry.
